When capable women go quiet, step back or leave, it's often read as a performance or commitment problem. Sometimes it's capacity, and the right conversation can change what happens next.

Hot, Foggy & Fabulous® Research Project, 205 Australian women, 2026. The research is ongoing, so these figures may shift as more women contribute.
And the wider research agrees
Australian women say menopause has hurt their career, employment or earning capacity. Only 1 in 5 rate their employer's support positively.

of women in a UK survey of around 4,000 lost confidence at work because of menopause symptoms.
In 2024 a Senate inquiry made 25 recommendations on menopause and perimenopause, including workplace policies and flexible work. Menopause at work is now firmly on the national agenda.
We start where managers get stuck
Most menopause support stops at awareness. We start at the moment a manager notices something has changed and isn't sure what to say. Our approach is built on two models created by Susan Judd, real research with Australian women, and decades of hands-on HR.
HR-led, not medical
We never diagnose and never ask anyone to disclose. We give leaders language, structure and confidence.
Built on research
The Hot, Foggy & Fabulous® Research Project has heard from more than 200 Australian women, and it's still open, so we keep pace with real women at every age.
Practical from day one
Scripts, adjustment ideas, a policy and a manager diagnostic your leaders can use the next morning.
Our findings sit alongside national and international research, from MetLife Australia to the UK's Fawcett Society.
Capability stays. Capacity moves.
The Capacity Continuum™ helps leaders tell the difference between what someone can do and what they can reach right now. Capacity can move for many reasons, from perimenopause and menopause to illness, grief or caring, and it can move back with the right support.
